**Update: as of Jan 12, 2016 the site (www.hivesinthecity.com) is back up and running. Thanks for your patience!
I just got an important message from the company that hosts the website for my book. It seems that our site has been shut down for a day or so in order to address some important security updates.
While I’m glad they are keeping everything be nice and secure, I’m a bit bummed that anyone looking to buy my book as a last minute Christmas gift might have trouble locating it.
So, here is goes:
If you order Hives in the City: Keeping Honey Bees Alive in an Urban World either today or tomorrow through Amazon.com, you should be able to get it in time for the holiday. Barnes & Noble stocks in online as well, although not in any of its North American stores.
For those of you who prefer to read the digital version, you can visit the above links or use Kobo.
Several DC gift shops also sell copies, and last time I checked they all had three or four in stock, although I can’t promise what you’ll find if you drop by during this busy holiday season. Those stores are:
Audubon Naturalist Gift Shop at Woodend
Brookside Gardens Gift Shop
Friends of the National Arboretum Gift Shop
